Pursuader Handbag

2006, leather

This handbag design embodies the convergence of surrealist art and female empowerment, taking the form of a machine gun transformed into a smooth, organic shape through leather crafting. With compartments for your mobile phone, this handbag is both functional and fashionable. Unfortunately, due to the current climate of violence, it has been discontinued, but its legacy lives on through its inclusion in the book "Art of the Handbag" and the group exhibition "Under Arms: Fire & Forget" at the Museum Angewandte Kunst, where it was displayed alongside works by celebrated artists and designers such as Barbara Kruger and Philippe Starck.
